Andres Toro

Educated in Bogota, Colombia with a Bachelor degree in Architecture from Universidad de los Andes , Andres worked as Lead Designer in several urban projects for the Mayor’s office in Bogotá. 

Prior to the creation of Trio, Andres worked as the Executive Designer and Project Manager on numerous projects specializing in Hi-Rise Condominiums, Hospitality and Single Family homes. Over several years Andres has worked in the luxury sector designing and implementing high end way of living, improving the client’s living environment.

Injecting enthusiasm to every project, he is skillfully able to translate clients’ vision into cutting-edge design.

Mike Stroh

Co-creator of Trio, Mike Stroh earned a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology in 2001, from Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Boston, MA.

Prior to the creation of Trio, Mike worked for renowned Architects as Project Manager for several years. Mike was in charge of projects varying from Tenant Improvement, Commercial Interior Design, Residential Interior Design, Residential Developments, among others.

Mike’s spatial vision and tasteful designing skills, combined with a real understanding of efficiency, are the tools needed to balance aesthetics and functionality in harmony. Mike strongly believes that the greatest service is achieved when we are able to correctly interpret our client’s needs.

David B. Rogers, P.E.

David is a Licensed Professional Engineer and Special Inspector in the state of Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1987, and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1989, both from The University of Cincinnati, in Cincinnati, OH.

David joined Trio Design in 2009 to provide structural engineering as a part of Trio’s design services. Prior to joining Trio, David worked as Design Engineer and Project Manager for 20 years. David was the Structural Engineer of Record for several landmark buildings in South Florida ranging from 15 to 50 million in construction costs.

David’s level of experience has encompassed many commercial and residential projects, and all types of construction materials. One of David’s greatest attributes is creating a pleasant experience for the client during the design and construction phases of a project. David strongly believes that good client relations are the key to success.

Charles O. Buckalew, P.E

Chuck is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Florida. Charles is graduated from the Florida International University and with more than 20 years of Civil Engineering experience.

Chuck’s experience focuses on the fields of water and sewer, paving, grading and drainage systems; master plans for overall systems upgrading and improvements, analysis of existing and proposed water distributions systems and pump station/ force main systems by Hardy Cross computer program and corridor analysis and selection; water and waste water treatment design and studies; drainage and storm water management studies and design; irrigation systems and utility relocation. 

His areas of expertise include design, project management and construction observation services as well as staff supervision and project coordination.  His entire career has been exercised in South Florida.

Ognian Hristov, Architect

Ognian has experience as a Licensed Architect in Canada & South Florida.  Registered Architect in Florida since 2008.

Highly creative and multitalented Architect and LEED Accredited Professional with extensive experience in Retail, Commercial, High Rise Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, Educational and Entertainment projects.

Exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills, dynamic team player with well-developed written and verbal communication abilities. Highly skilled in client and consultants relations and coordination.

Passionate and inventive creator of innovative design and accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments with emphasis on working within budged requirements.
